Em Rostov Do Don, Milan Badelj, aos 53 minutos, e Ivan Perisic, aos 90, marcaram os tentos da Croácia, que venceu o agrupamento com o pleno de triunfos, eliminando uns islandeses que faturaram por Gylfi Sigurdsson, aos 76, de penálti.
Nos oitavos de final, a Argentina vai defrontar a França, no sábado, em Kazan, pelas 17:00 locais (15:00 em Lisboa), enquanto a Croácia medirá forças com a Dinamarca, no domingo, pelas 21:00 locais (19:00 em Lisboa), em Nijni Novgorod.
